No funding for National Health . . .?

Representative Schummer (sp?) New York, House Finance Committee said recently that post November elections, Democrats would have to wait an additional 18 months before funding for NHC would be even "remotely" possible . . . that means Clinton and Obama, should either of the win the Presidency, would not be able to institute health care reforms for a minimum of 18 months . . . and most likely not until their second term (should that happen). If you are currently supporting a Democrat, would this make you reconsider McCain? Thanks.
