How do i get a house loan?

well im 18 years old and ive recently moved back into my child hood home in my hometown. i really want to be able to get the loan on it with out having a co signer. i also wanna be able to tak out a loan to remodel the house because it needs a lot of work. do any young home buyers have any advice.
