Obama care starts in 2014, my company will be FORCED to carry insurance on everyone.?

If we don't, we have to pay a fine. Also, I know I have to pay tax on the premium. The question is the insurance amount counted as TAXABLE INCOME? Will this not FORCE companies to lay people off when we're already struggling to stay afloat?
