OpenOffice Install Probs on Vista?

When I try to install OpenOffice on Vista, I get this message: "Installer: Wrapper.createfile failed with error 123: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." I can still proceed with the installation and the process seems to go through alright. But then when I try to launch OpenOffice, I get a message from Windows that says it is turning off OpenOffice because of an error -- but it doesn't specify what the error is. How can install OpenOffice so it will run normally?
