I have a small mp3 player that has voice record option. the problem is im unable to listen to them except for?

the problem is i can only listen to the recorded files on the mp3 player and they're recorded in ACT format watever that is. well how in the world do u do it or wat program can u use to convert them for free etc etc... in order to listen to them on my pc or burn to a cd or somethin other than on the mps player. i've found 2 ACT to wav or mp3 converters one named "switch" and the other "sound convert tool 2.o" but both dont acomplish nothin the sound convert program always prompts me with cannot find file. but it is right there who knows wat glitch causes it. and the switch program always just shuts down says its encountered a problem and needs to close after i hit convert so im uming glitch too who knows can anyone help me wit this arduous task lol thanks
