Sugar Glider vs Hedge Hog?

which one in your opinion would make a better bet for me. i want an interesting pet that wont try to run and get away i want to handle it. i read that hedge hogs are nocturnal and spend most of their day asleep so just little things like that will help me decide between my new pet. i am just curious between the pros and cons of owning either
