Least romantic man on the planet?

so im dating the least romantic man on th planet.....now im not one of those hopless romantic type of girls myself (i mean i even think the term "making love" is corny) but you know every now and then id like him to....i dont know sit next to me.....or cuddle during a movie ........or something........I know he loves me there is no question about that i think its something to do with the fact that most of the time we get to spend together is when he has his kids so we dont really have time to be all "mushy" so i think he just got used to not being that way but i really wish he would be even slightly more attentive when we finally have some time alone! any ideas?
